A typical non-working day is wake up and take my daughters to school. Go to the gym. Meet a friend for lunch or cook something tasty that takes a few hours whilst listening to music. In our review of Lucifer: Season 5, we called the new episodes the best of the series. But the fifth season is not over yet. And it looks like the creators of this Netflix series still have some notes on their vocals… literally! We can look forward to a real musical episode. You heard it right, Lucifer Morningstar in a real dance-off. Yesterday a preview of this already legendary episode appeared online!
The first footage shows Lucifer (Tom Ellis), Chloe (Lauren German) and Dan (Kevin Alejandro) investigating a murder on an American football pitch. But the crime scene quickly turns into an open-air festival when Queen’s “Another One Bites the Dust” starts. Before long, football players, cheerleaders and drum bands join the morbid party!
It is not yet known when the musical episode (with the ominous title “Bloody Celestial Karoake Jam”) will be shown on Netflix. We already know that the musical episode will be the tenth episode of the fifth season. Based on earlier statements by lead actor Tom Ellis, Lucifer: Season 5B will be screened sometime around the turn of the year. As if we didn’t have enough reasons to end 2020 as soon as possible …
